With more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry, I lead Insignia Destinations with a passion for personalized service, thoughtful planning, and exceptional travel experiences. I began my career with Liberty Travel, where I developed extensive expertise in vacation planning and destination knowledge before establishing Insignia Destinations.
I specialize in custom European vacations, luxury travel, ocean and river cruises, honeymoons, milestone celebrations, family vacations, Disney and Universal vacations, and complex multi-destination itineraries. Combining my professional expertise with firsthand travel experience, I carefully consider every detail to create seamless, memorable journeys.
As a mom of three, I also understand the unique needs of family travelers and love helping families create vacations that balance adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.
As owner and managing director, I mentor my team, build supplier relationships, and remain dedicated to providing exceptional client service. My philosophy is simple: great travel begins with listening, attention to detail, and personalized care every step of the way.

I was born in El Salvador and grew up in upstate New York before relocating to Danbury, Connecticut, in 2019 to be closer to family. Outside of travel, I enjoy creative writing and Latin dancing, but exploring the world is, without a doubt, my greatest passion!
Working in the travel industry is truly a dream come true because I get to turn my love of travel into unforgettable experiences for others. Coming from a long line of avid travelers, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore over 28 countries, including Costa Rica, France, Spain, Italy, Scotland, Sweden, South Korea, Iceland, and many more!
My favorite part of being a travel advisor is getting to know each traveler personally. I believe the best trips are those that reflect your unique interests, hobbies, travel style, and dreams. From family adventures and studying abroad in Italy to countless unforgettable trips to Mexico and the Caribbean, travel has shaped who I am. What inspires me most is uncovering the culture, character, and charm that make each destination beautiful and unique.
One of the most rewarding parts of being a Travel Associate is sharing that passion with others and helping turn their travel dreams into reality. Hi, I’m Tessa! I was born in Connecticut, but I moved to Italy with my family as a child and grew up near Milan. Some of my favorite memories are of the road trips my family was always planning, from Venice all the way down to Sicily. I loved exploring new places, sightseeing, and, of course, trying the local food wherever we went.
Growing up and going to school in Italy allowed me to become fluent in Italian, and living in Europe gave me the opportunity to travel to many other beautiful countries as well. Those experiences gave me a real love for travel and for discovering the culture, food, history, and personality of each destination.
Italy will always hold a special place in my heart, and I love being able to share my firsthand knowledge and experiences with others.
