Hiking enthusiasts can explore the nearby Picos de Europa, traversing rugged trails and taking in breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. Meanwhile, water sports enthusiasts can kayak along the coast, discovering hidden coves and secluded beaches inaccessible by land.

Lastly, before you head to your hotel…

You must. You simply MUST stop by La Parrilla. A short drive outside the main city of San Vicente, the food is truly incredible. The evening, I dined there, the wait was short, not too crowded, and food came in a timely manner.

The locals I ate with said it was one of the best meals they had had in a WHILE. Order the meat and vegetable special, and a pitcher of Sangria de sidra (Cider Sangria) that paired incredibly with the grilled meats that were presented before us.

With a slight smokey flavor, and melt-in-your-mouth texture, we did not stop talking about this place for weeks.
